COMMERCIAL

Spaces That Drive Business and Community

Buildings in the commercial space are some of the most dynamic, high-traffic environments. At Foresight, we collaborate with owners, designers, and end users to create spaces that are innovative, functional, and welcoming—whether it’s a large church, a mixed-use development, or a Class-A office building.

Why Foresight?

Foresight wasn’t named after a founder — it was named after our purpose. We chose the name Foresight because we believe great construction is about anticipating what’s next, not just reacting to what’s now. While other builders play defense, we stay on offense — looking ahead to potential challenges, opportunities, and solutions so our clients don’t have to. Owners can rest assured knowing we’re thinking ahead on their behalf, delivering projects with confidence, clarity, and control at every step.

The Rock of Gainesville, North Campus Worship Facility and Administration Addition

Gainesville, FLORIDA

This design-build project delivered a 27,669 SF pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) worship facility that serves as a welcoming hub for both spiritual and community life. The new facility features a spacious worship center, a classroom wing, multipurpose meeting spaces, restrooms, and a lobby café designed to foster fellowship and connection. To further support the campus’s growing needs, construction is also underway on a new administration and storage building, providing dedicated space for operations and long-term functionality.

Because the project was carried out on an active, occupied campus, our team worked with great care to ensure safety and minimize disruption. Extensive sitework improvements were completed, including new paving, parking areas, retention basins, stormwater systems, and upgraded utilities. To accommodate increased traffic, two new turn lanes were added on a major highway, improving access and flow.

Specialty work was woven throughout the project to address the unique functional and aesthetic needs of the campus. From carefully coordinated finishes to the seamless integration of advanced technology systems, the facility was designed with precision, vision, and attention to detail—ensuring it will serve the community for years to come.

Lane Avenue Warehouse

gainesville, Florida

This project included the development of a 27-acre, fully wooded site, the new construction of a 160,000-square-foot tilt wall industrial warehouse, and readying a building pad for an additional 160,000-square-foot warehouse. The building elevation is thirty-five feet, there are dock-high doors, a concrete truck court, and parking that is expandable to 468 autos.

North Central Baptist Church, Addition and Interior Renovation

gainesville, FLORIDA

The project at North Central Baptist Church involves a 3,000 SF addition to the existing sanctuary building, creating a new, welcoming lobby space. This addition includes a coffee bar, a row of cabinets with a sink, and additional restroom facilities, specifically two gang restrooms and a family single-occupancy restroom, to better accommodate the congregation. The exterior work entails extending the building footprint by removing the existing canopy entry from the existing vestibule, installing a new roof system integrated with the existing exterior wall, and constructing with concrete blocks featuring directly applied stucco. The new main entry and windows will be made of aluminum storefront, enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of the church.
