This 3,500 SF project included HVAC system replacement and roof upgrades at the chlorine building for Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU). The scope of work included replacing existing exhaust equipment with three new exhaust fans mounted on structural steel supports, demolishing outdated heating equipment, and relocating condensing units.

The project also delivered a complete roof replacement using a durable PVC KEE roofing system, including new guardrails, gutters, downspouts, and related roofing accessories. A new lightning protection system was installed to protect both the facility and critical equipment. Interior improvements included painting existing ductwork, installing new stainless steel ductwork, and integrating two owner-furnished, contractor-installed variable-frequency drives (VFDs) into the HVAC control system to improve performance and efficiency.

All work was performed in an active, mission-critical water treatment environment, requiring careful coordination and precision to ensure uninterrupted utility operations.
