GOVERNMENT

Building to Serve and Strengthen Communities

FEDERAL

As a trusted partner of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, we understand the stringent standards, secure protocols, and mission-critical requirements that govern these projects.

MUNICIPAL

Constructing for local governments gives us the privilege of shaping the future of our cities. We aim to build sustainable, resilient communities that foster growth, unity, and opportunity.

Why Foresight?

Foresight wasn’t named after a founder — it was named after our purpose. We chose the name Foresight because we believe great construction is about anticipating what’s next, not just reacting to what’s now. While other builders play defense, we stay on offense — looking ahead to potential challenges, opportunities, and solutions so our clients don’t have to. Owners can rest assured knowing we’re thinking ahead on their behalf, delivering projects with confidence, clarity, and control at every step.

Florida Air National Guard ,
Repair O&T, Medical Training, Dining Hall and DP Buildings 4200/4201

Starke, FLORIDA

The 202nd RED HORSE Squadron is a civil engineering unit responsible for Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers—self-sufficient teams that are rapidly deployable worldwide. In support of their mission, Foresight Construction Group partnered with the Florida Air National Guard to renovate aging facilities and improve overall functionality and resilience.

The scope of work included demolishing existing barrel roof systems and installing new trusses with metal decking and roof panels, removing and constructing new CMU walls, repairing and sealing exterior walls, and painting all exterior and interior surfaces. Damaged floor coverings were replaced, and water-damaged ceiling tiles and grids were repaired.

The existing HVAC system, which had exceeded its useful life, was replaced with a new, upgraded system including ductwork and insulation for improved efficiency. Lighting systems were upgraded throughout to ensure proper illumination.

Restrooms and locker rooms were renovated with new fixtures and finishes to meet current standards. All exterior windows and doors were repaired or replaced—including weather stripping and hardware—to ensure a secure building envelope. Life-safety systems were upgraded, and a new backup generator with a seven-day fuel tank was installed. All improvements incorporated sustainable design principles and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) standards.

Foresight and the Florida Air National Guard overcame several challenges throughout construction, including design changes and pandemic-related material procurement delays. Strong partnership and open communication were key to value engineering efforts and to the overall success of the project.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE), NAVMWR NAS Jax Marina Support Facilities

NAS Jacksonville, Florida

This project encompassed relocating the marina store and offices into a new 1,500 SF building, renovating the existing 1,500 SF pavilion, and constructing a new 2,300 SF pre-engineered maintenance facility. The existing marina facility underwent extensive exterior renovations, including a new roof, hardy board siding, fresh paint, new doors and frames, a bathroom remodel, and a new awning.

The new maintenance facility includes utility rooms, a bathroom, an office, a parts storage area, and a workshop bench area where boats can be brought in for servicing. The maintenance yard was reconfigured and paved to enhance operational flow, and five double-bay boat/RV carports were added alongside a covered boat wash-down area. Comprehensive underground sitework was completed to install the force main, water main, and sewage systems. Additional improvements included a new perimeter fence and upgraded parking lighting.

Jacksonville Aviation Authority,

Cecil Airport Fabric Hangar Door Installation

Jacksonville, FLORIDA

This project involved the installation of a new fabric hangar end wall and hangar door at Cecil Airport, part of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority system. The work was performed on an 18,000-square-foot fabric aircraft hangar located within an active flight zone, requiring careful coordination and strict adherence to aviation safety protocols.

Foresight successfully completed the installation while minimizing disruption to ongoing airport operations, demonstrating our team’s ability to execute precision work in secure, mission-critical environments.
