Foresight recently joined Moffitt Cancer Center, Speros leadership, Pasco County officials, donors, and members of the construction and design team to celebrate a key project milestone at the Speros FL campus in Pasco County, Florida.
At the heart of the event was the topping-out ceremony for the Moffitt Discovery & Innovation Center, a 250,000-square-foot, six-story research facility that will serve as a cornerstone for cutting-edge cancer research. The topping-out marks the placement of the structure’s highest beam, a significant progress milestone for the project.
The ceremonial beam, signed by hundreds of team members across all disciplines, was lifted into place as a symbol of the collective effort and collaboration behind this world-class facility. Foresight is proud to serve as part of the construction management team, in partnership with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, helping bring this ambitious vision to life.
The Moffitt Discovery & Innovation Center will house advanced scientific programs, including wet labs, specialized core labs, a vivarium with robotic equipment, faculty offices, collaborative spaces, and support services.
Named after the Latin word for “hope,” the Speros campus is destined to become a beacon of innovation, healing, and progress in the fight against cancer, not just in Pasco County but worldwide.
