The project consisted of renovating four existing office spaces into a single, cohesive laboratory on the second floor of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering A Building. Work included selective demolition and reconfiguration of interior spaces to accommodate the new lab layout, along with installation of laboratory-grade casework, new flooring, upgraded electrical systems, and modifications to the HVAC system to support lab operations. Specialized scope elements included integrating laboratory gases and installing owner-furnished lab equipment.

Constructed within an active, occupied campus facility, the project required careful coordination to minimize disruption to ongoing academic and research activities. The team maintained a safe and organized work environment while working in proximity to building occupants, ensuring continuous operations throughout construction.
