The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has awarded Foresight Construction Group a contract to complete the interior build-out of two police training facilities, an indoor firing range and a workout gym, both located at HCSO’s Pinebrooke II facility in Tampa, Florida.
At completion, the new gym will feature 4,100-sf of training space and will include men’s and women’s locker rooms and an office. Foresight will also construct a 5,100-sf indoor firing range within the building.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office staffs more than 4,000 law enforcement officers, detention deputies and civilians. Their Pinebrooke location houses District V, providing law enforcement services for eastern Hillsborough County.
“Our law enforcement has an important mission to protect and defend the Hillsborough community,” said Juan Segarra, Foresight’s President and CEO. “We are proud to support their mission by equipping them with better training facilities to hone their skills.”
The project is scheduled for completion by Fall 2017.
