This project consisted of the renovation of a 17,000 SF unit on the 8th floor of the UF Health Shands Hospital. Our scope of work included the installation of new casework for 15 nurse work stations, additional power for patient assist systems, access control including new fobs and readers for all perimeter doors, and the removal of existing bed lifts. It also included the installation of a new set of stairs, water protection on the foot wall of all patient rooms, 10 smoke dampers in the return air ducts, and the renovation and installation of the patient waiting room.
